We all know that winter is almost here, but our hearts are warm and sincere, so let's throw away our fears, and celebrate the longest night of the year! Persian Student Organization (PSO) and Persian Panthers invite you to this year's Yalda Celebration, held in observation of the ancient Iranian tradition. We will have fruits, nuts, and food, read some beautiful Hafez poems, listen to live Persian traditional music, and then dance to the not-so-traditional music until midnight. So, come have some fun and enjoy a great start to the holiday season! If you are new to the area, come meet some new people! If you have not seen some of us for a while, come down and catch up! If none of the above apply to you, come anyway! We hope to see you all next Saturday night, December 12th, starting at 7:00 PM. The location is the Connan room on the 1st floor of CMU's University Center (if it helps, it is the same room as our last year's Yalda, down the hallway from Wiegand Gym). The admission fee is $5 for students and $15 for non-students, to be collected at the door; but, please RSVP beforehand (by Wednesday, December 9th) to
